Where is AquaTurGerês located?
We are based in the heart of the Peneda-Gerês National Park, specifically in the Albufeira da Caniçada/Vila do Gerês area, perfectly positioned for mountain and river activities.
Do I need a license to rent or ride a boat?
No license is required for our guided boat tours. Our experienced skippers will take care of everything so you can simply relax and enjoy the scenery.
What should I bring for the boat tour?
We recommend bringing sunscreen, a towel, swimwear, and, of course, your camera! Life jackets and safety equipment are provided by us.
Can we stop for a swim during the tour?
Absolutely! One of the best parts of touring the Caniçada reservoir is diving into the calm, fresh waters in the more secluded areas.
Where is the meeting point for the tours?
Our boats are docked at the Caniçada Reservoir. Once you book, we will send you the exact GPS location for easy access and parking.
